Westfield Specialty Intl. appoints Andrew Richardson as Head of Open Market Property

Westfield Specialty International, the London-based specialty insurance arm of Westfield, has announced the appointment of Andrew Richardson as Head of Open Market Property.

In his new role, Richardson will be based in London and report directly to Richard Wood, Head of Property at Westfield Specialty International.

He brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, joining Westfield Specialty International from Faraday Underwriting Limited, where he served as Head of Commercial Lines.

Wood commented, “Andrew’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires that underlines Westfield Specialty’s ability to attract the best talent in the industry.

“His extensive experience and deep understanding of the sector will be invaluable as we continue to expand our open market property offering as part of Westfield Specialty’s long-term growth strategy.
