Vantage promotes Krista Robinson to Chief Risk Officer

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd., a specialty insurer and reinsurer, has announced the promotion of Krista Robinson to Chief Risk Officer.

Robinson succeeds Peter Skerlj, who is retiring after more than 25 years in the industry, including nearly three years as Vantage’s Chief Risk Officer.

She will join the group’s leadership team and report to Greg Hendrick, Vantage’s Chief Executive Officer.

In her new role, Robinson will lead the continued evolution of Vantage’s enterprise risk management and reserving frameworks, building on the strong foundation she helped establish since joining the company. She will oversee risk and reserving in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Robinson joined Vantage in 2021 as Head of Insurance Reserving and Risk Management and most recently served as Chief Risk Officer – Insurance.

Prior to that, she spent nearly 15 years at CNA Insurance, where she held several leadership roles in risk and governance, enterprise risk management, and actuarial reserving, most recently as Vice President – Risk Management & Governance.

Hendrick said, “Krista has been instrumental in shaping Vantage’s risk and reserving functions from the ground up.

“Her actuarial expertise, strategic mindset, and collaborative approach have earned her the trust of colleagues across the organisation. I’m thrilled to have Krista step into this expanded role and support our continued momentum as we scale the company.” He added, “We’re grateful for Pete’s leadership and many contributions to Vantage, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”
