Swiss Re appoints Beat Kramer as Group AI Lead

Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Beat Kramer as Group AI Lead.

In this new role, Kramer will lead the company’s AI journey by combining its Group-wide human expertise with its state-of-the-art data and technology foundation.

He has spent the past 20 years at Swiss Re in various senior positions, including Head of Property Underwriting EMEA, Head of Property Treaty Globals EMEA, and Head of Business Steering.

Most recently, Kramer served as UW Transformation Lead – P&C Re, where he was responsible for establishing an efficient target operating model for the firm’s P&C Treaty Underwriting organisation.
