Protecdiv promotes Cate DelaCruz to EVP and Head of Analytics

Protecdiv, an insurance and reinsurance brokerage firm, has announced the promotion of Cate DelaCruz to Executive Vice President and Head of Analytics, effective immediately.

In her new position, DelaCruz will be responsible for leading the ongoing development and strategic direction of Protecdiv’s analytics platform.

She has also been tasked with overseeing the creation of proprietary tools, improving client-facing solutions, and fostering growth in the company’s reinsurance, insurance, and mortgage credit risk sectors.

With her experience and skills, the executive is to play a key role in advancing the company’s use of data-driven decision-making across the enterprise and strengthening Protecdiv’s value proposition to clients and partners, the firm stated.

DelaCruz has been part of the Protecdiv team since May 2020, when she joined the company as Senior Director of Analytics in May 2020.

DelaCruz’s promotion is one of Protecdiv’s most recent appointments this year. These include David Castillo as Executive Vice President (EVP) and National Construction Practice Leader, and Tamika Puckett as Executive Vice President and Public Sector Practice Leader.
As well as the appointment of Sandra Thompson as Independent Director.
