HDI Global, a commercial and specialty lines insurer, has announced the roll out of HDI ARGOS 4.0 (Accumulation Risk Geospatial Online System), an advanced digital risk management service for its clients.
This NatCat assessment tool, created in response to the increasing frequency and severity of natural catastrophes driven by climate change, will enable companies to maximise overall efficiency of their risk management by delivering outstanding capabilities in geospatial risk analysis and resilience planning.
“It is crucial for companies to know their risk and how to protect themselves. By launching HDI ARGOS 4.0, we further develop our proven suite of natural hazard monitoring solutions to meet today’s demands from companies around the world to protect against losses from natural hazards,” said Dr Dirk Höring, HDI Global Board member with responsibility for Property Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Marine Insurance and HDI Risk Consulting, emphasizing the strategic importance.
HDI ARGOS 4.0 is a future-focused solution designed to help businesses make more informed decisions by analysing, visualising, and managing locations, thereby future-proofing their operations.
The latest version of HDI ARGOS 4.0 introduces a number of key enhancements:
- AI-Driven Location Import: The system now uses advanced AI to quickly and accurately import tens of thousands of locations at once.
- Natural Hazard Analysis: It provides detailed risk assessments and scores for a range of natural hazards, including floods, earthquakes and storms.
- Interactive Reporting: Clients can create their own reports and dashboards for a clear overview of risk factors and vulnerabilities.
- Enhanced Features: New features include 3D hazard maps for risks like snow and hail, and an Elevation Tool for interactive topographical analysis.
“By combining high-resolution hazard intelligence, interactive mapping, fully customizable reporting and user-friendly interface, HDI ARGOS 4.0 provides fast and, above all, well-founded risk analyses of all relevant natural hazard data. This enables us to help clients swiftly and efficiently identify natural hazard risks and reduce them proactively. With HDI ARGOS 4.0, we’re not just offering a tool – we’re enabling our clients to transform risk into strategic foresight”, Lars Regner, Head of Resilience Services at HDI Risk Consulting, an internal division at HDI Global, stated.
“With HDI ARGOS 4.0, we reinforce our role as a strategic and reliable Partner in Transformation helping businesses navigate the growing challenges resulting from natural hazards and strengthen their resilience in the long term. HDI ARGOS 4.0 is not just another NatCat tool – it offers real value as the starting point for building true resilience”, Höring added.
