Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointment of Kelsey Mulder as Head of Research.
Mulder joins Ariel Re from Liberty Specialty Markets, where she most recently served as Exposure Management Catastrophe Research Manager. Prior to that, she was a Director of Catastrophe Research and Development for Liberty Mutual Insurance.
The executive also spent three years at specialist insurer Hiscox. Mulder joined the company as Catastrophe Model Research Analyst and was then appointed Natural Catastrophe Research Lead. Additionally, she also worked as a Modeler for RMS for two years.
“Kelsey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team and we are confident her leadership will drive the continued success and innovation in our research efforts,” an Ariel Re spokesperson commented.
