Global insurance broking group Howden has appointed Tom O’Donnell as Practice Head of Logistics, Howden US.
O’Donnell, who holds over 25 years of experience, joins Howden from Aon, where he has held leadership roles since 2016, most recently as Logistics Practice Leader – Global.
Before this, he was a Senior Director, Head of Contract Risk – Americas at DHL and Senior Manager, Insurance & Claims Risk Manager at Schenker.
In the new role at Howden, O’Donnell will lead Howden’s efforts to build the leading insurance broking and risk advisory firm dedicated to the logistics industry in the US.
Based in New York, he will form part of Mike Parrish’s leadership team, who commented, “To see people of Tom’s calibre choosing to join us – as we build a new business that creates choice for both talent and clients – speaks volumes to what we’ve achieved in a short time.
