Marlon Williams hired as Senior Broker at AHJ Miller Bermuda

AHJ Miller, the reinsurance division of Miller and an independent specialist re/insurance broker, has appointed Marlon Williams as Senior Broker in its Bermuda office.

Williams brings more than 20 years of industry experience, covering insurance, reinsurance, catastrophe modelling, and international property catastrophe underwriting.

He joins from Hiscox Re & ILS, where he spent five years as Senior Underwriter with responsibility for international property catastrophe business and retrocession. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years with Markel Bermuda in its catastrophe practice.

He stepped into his new position in September 2025 and reports directly to Charlie Simpson, Head of Miller Bermuda. In this role, Williams will oversee the placement of reinsurance and retrocessional business in the Bermuda market, lead new business development, and strengthen AHJ Miller’s Property Cat expertise as the broker grows its reinsurance presence on the island.
